                               RESOLUTION NO. 19158
                   
                   
                   A RESOLUTION APPROVING CERTAIN CHANGES IN 
                   THE SEVENTEENTH YEAR APPLICATION TO THE 
                   DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT 
                   FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT 
                   FUNDING, SAID CHANGES MORE PARTICULARLY 
                   DESCRIBED HEREIN.
                   
                   
                                                     
                   
                   
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby approved the 
       following changes in the Seventeenth Year Application to the 
       Department of Housing and Urban Development for Community 
       Development Block Grant Funding:
       	    Inner-City Development Corporation:  $225,000 for 
                 housing acquisition and rehabilitation, renovation, 
                 sidewalk improvement, administration, and mortgage 
                 write down.
       
       	    Chattanooga Neighborhood Enterprise:  $1,650,000 for 
                 homeowner rehabilitation, affordable rental 
                 housing, lease/purchase program, multi-family 
                 programs, and administration.
       
       	    Martin Luther King Community Development Corporation:  
                 Approximately $21,000 of Sixteenth Year Application 
                 funds allocated to MLKCDC to be used for 
                 renovations at the Central City Complex located at 
                 730 M. L. King Boulevard.
